Introduction to Essential Mindfulness Practices – Fridays 9-10am*. January 14-March 4.
An easy-access course for beginners or refresher course for more experienced practitioners! Each week, I send you a new practice with readings, videos and recorded practices for you to explore at your own pace. On Friday mornings, we’ll gather together on Zoom to share and practice together. Over the 8 weeks, we will practice sitting and breathing and movement meditations as well as learn how to work with difficult thoughts and emotions. These essential practices can increase mind-body awareness, reduce stress, improve attention, boost immune function, reduce emotional reactivity and promote a general sense of wellbeing. The class is intentionally small so that over time, we develop the familiarity of a supportive practice group.

Mindfulness Practice Groups – Thursdays, 12-12:45pm* AND 6:15-7pm*. January 13-March 3.
For those of you who would like to practice together weekly with live guided meditations and the support of a small group setting, please join a Practice Group!
Jack Kornfield, one of the foundational Mindfulness teachers is fond of saying, “There’s no such thing as a ‘one walk dog’”. That is to say, you can’t do just one or a few mindfulness meditations and achieve peace of mind forever. It is a practice. Yet with even a short few weeks of practice, we can begin to see the results in our own sense of well-being and in our relationships.
Each 8 week session is $40.
