Saturday Morning Mindfulness Meditations
As we officially welcome the spring season this month, I invite you to join me and your fellow practitioners on April 9, May 7 and June 4 for a Saturday morning practice to refresh and reground your mindfulness practice. We’ll explore a mindfulness practice together, on Zoom, from 9:00-10:00am with a meditation and time to connect. As we navigate these challenging times, let’s join together to nurture our ability to be present in the moment – even when that moment might be difficult – and cultivate our skills of compassion. I hope to see you then!
I’m offering these practice sessions by donation. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can send you the zoom link each week before class. If you would like to offer a donation for the class, you can do so here. Thank you!
Saturday, April 9 CULTIVATING COURAGE
“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.”Maya Angelou
Saturday, May 7 MINDFUL SPEECH
“A ‘No’ uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a ‘Yes’ merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.“Mahatma Ghandi
Saturday, June 4 BELONGING & WHOLENESS
“We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.”Martin Luther King
“For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes.
To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.“Cynthia Occelli
